Job Details

  • Salary Range: $52,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on your experience

Responsibilities

As an Insurance Sales Professional, your main duties will be to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and current clients
  • Figure out what clients need and recommend the right insurance products for them
  • Create and explain insurance quotes and proposals in a way that's easy to understand
  • Take care of policy updates, changes, and other needed adjustments
  • Keep client records in our database accurate and up-to-date
  • Go to networking events and join in community outreach activities to find new leads and help people learn about our company
  • Meet and go beyond sales targets and goals

Requirements

To do well in this job, you should have:

  • Experience as an insurance sales agent or in a related job
  • Strong skills in talking with people, negotiating, and working well with others
  • The ability to work on your own and manage your time well
  • Know-how with Microsoft Office Suite and other important software programs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or an equivalent education
  • A valid insurance sales license for the state(s) where you'll be working
  • It's great if you have experience in customer service, sales, or a similar job, but it's not required
